Invisalign Clear Aligners Leamington Spa

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign treatment is a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth. Using advanced 3D computer-imaging technology, Invisalign shows you your whole treatment plan based on your Invisalign Provider’s prescription, from the initial position of your teeth to the final optimal position. A whole series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth to move them incrementally to their final position.

Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series, gradually moving towards the projected final position. The treatment time depends on your specific needs and will be decided by your Invisalign Provider.

How does Invisalign work?

You will be prescribed a series of clear, custom-made aligners. Each aligner should be worn for two weeks before you move onto the next. The aligners place gentle pressures on your teeth which gently moves them further and further into the right position.

You’ll also have regular appointments with us, so we can check everything’s progressing in the right direction.
Your aligners should be worn for around 20-22 hours each day, which gives you the freedom to remove them before eating, drinking, and cleaning your teeth. With Invisalign, you won’t have to be careful about the types of food you eat — there are no restrictions. And it’s easy to keep your teeth healthy.

By the end of your treatment, your smile will be as healthy as it is beautiful.

What is a suitable case?

  • Crowded and crooked teeth
  • Gaps between the teeth
  • Overbite — where the upper teeth excessively overlap the lower teeth
  • Under bite — where the lower teeth stick out past the front teeth
  • Open bite — where the upper and lower teeth are forced outwards, not meeting each other
  • Cross bite — where the upper teeth bite on the inside of your the lower teeth

Why Invisalign?

  • Reliable — Invisalign has straightened over 4 million smiles in the last 15 years with amazing results
  • Removable — take out your aligners to eat and drink, and also to brush your teeth afterwards
  • Comfortable — soft custom-made aligners fit your teeth perfectly and won’t irritate your mouth like traditional braces
  • Fast appointments — without any fiddly wires to change, your appointments with us will be much quicker

See your results beforehand — we use advanced technology to show you how your smile will look at each stage and at the end of treatment.

Invisalign FAQs

Is Invisalign right for me?
Invisalign can treat many mild to moderate orthodontic issues. You’ll find out if Invisalign is the right treatment for you at your initial consultation at Priory Dental Centre. Together we’ll discuss all your options, so you can make an informed decision about the best treatment for you.

What is the cost?

The cost of Invisalign starts from £2000. To find out the exact cost of your treatment, please visit Priory Dental Centre for a free, no-obligation consultation. We’ll discuss your treatment and inform you of the full cost, as well as information on our affordable payment plans.

Will they be visible?

Invisalign aligners are very discreet. You can talk to friends and family up close without them even noticing your treatment.

What are the aligners made of?

Invisalign aligners are made out of a durable material called transparent polycrystalline alumina (TPA). Originally designed by NASA, TPA now provides a comfortable and safe way to straighten teeth.

Will my speech be affected?

You may have a slight lisp starting out, but this will completely go after a few days once you get used to wearing your aligners.

What are attachments?

Invisalign attachments are tooth-coloured ridges that we may stick to your teeth to help them move.

What do I do if I lose my aligners?

Please contact Priory Dental Centre as soon as you can, and we’ll provide you with a replacement. You should start wearing your previous aligner straight away, or we may advise you to just begin with the next one.

Do I have to wear a retainer after treatment?

Yes, you’ll be given a fixed or removable retainer to wear to keep your teeth stay in place after treatment.

You can call the practice on 01926 312204 to book a consultation with our Invisalign providers Dr Taranjit Sangar, and Dr Anupreet Gill.
